For more than 60 years Lutheran Social Services of South Central Pennsylvania has been serving the residents of York County. Today its services have grown and expanded to include senior living, home health care, in-home support and hospice care, and a broad spectrum of community outreach services which respond to the varied needs of our neighbors.
The LSS Cornerstone Dinner provides an opportunity for the community to learn about Lutheran Social Services while enjoying a fun-filled evening. Through the generosity of partners, in its eleven-year history, the LSS Cornerstone Dinner has netted (after all expenses) more than $1.2 million in support of the community outreach services of Lutheran Social Services.
In 2013, Lutheran Social Services served more than 4,600 people through our community outreach programs in York County, providing more than $393,000 in care to individuals who were unable to pay the full cost of the services they needed.
